Why build a stainless steel pool at B.art?

  • We work only with stainless steel 316 L with a smooth finish (type 2B). This finish prevents algae from adhering to the surface of the pool shell.
  • We work only with stainless steel 316 L with a smooth finish (type 2B). This finish prevents algae from adhering to the surface of the pool shell.
    • a 2B plate possesses the original thick passivation layer which has been applied chemically in the original production of the steel sheet. This offers more protection than the thin passivation layer that is the consequence of using brushed plate.
    • brushed plate has a rougher surface profile with a greater adhesion capacity for dirt particles which can in turn initiate local corrosion processes.
    • as a result of thermal stresses during the brushing process, microscopic surface cracks may develop and this can lead to incipient local corrosion.
  • Since we undertake the entire production in our own workshop, we are able to guarantee you unrivalled quality.
  • The colour of water in a stainless steel pool is very attractive and changes depending upon the light conditions. Sunlight reflections makes for a beautiful play of colours!
  • Stainless steel is very durable and environmentally friendly.
  • The pool water temperature may rise infinitely without risk of damage to the pool.
  • The design of our pools (rounded sides of the bottom) facilitates ease of cleaning.
  • Because we assemble and weld the pool shell on site, risk of damage during transport or installation is avoided and wide passage for movement is not required. Contrary to what competitors of monobloc steel pools sometimes claim, on-site assembly and welding does not increase the risk of rust on the welds.
  • In addition, we can construct pools up to 6 meters wide.
  • Our polycarbonate solar anti-algae shutters not only provide safety, but also heat the water and maintain the water temperature.
  • The pool shell is very well insulated, by our own professionals, so heating costs are minimized.
  • Our swimming pools are standard equipped with high water line skimmers.
  • For our accessory equipment we work exclusively with leading suppliers (Hayward, Bayroll,...)
  • Our electrical control cabinet is custom-made for each individual installation and set to best economy of electricity consumption.
  • A UV lamp with digital hour meter is installed as standard.
  • An automatic dosing device (Bayroll) is our preferred method for control of water ph and chlorine level.
