ABOUT US

Inox Swimming Pools B.art has accumulated 20 years of experience with stainless steel construction. The application of our experience to the development and introduction of stainless steel swimming pools was initiated 15 years ago when we became the first Belgian pool constructor to offer this concept to the market. Every pool is custom designed and produced on equipment in our own premises and under total control throughout the entire process, from initial design through to installation and start-up at the client’s location.

WHY BUILD A STAINLESS STEEL POOL AT B.ART?

We work only with stainless steel 316 L with a smooth finish (type 2B). This finish prevents algae from adhering to the surface of the pool shell.

Some advantages, from a corrosion point of view, of a 2B surface over a brushed surface finish are as follows:

- a 2B plate possesses the original thick passivation layer which has been applied chemically in the original production of the steel sheet. This offers more protection than the thin passivation layer that is the consequence of using brushed plate.

- brushed plate has a rougher surface profile with a greater adhesion capacity for dirt particles which can in turn initiate local corrosion processes.
